Privacy & Cookie Policy
This notice is provided under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended) and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021. It applies only to this website (starless.giovannimonoscalco.it). Other sites reachable from here, including the stores where the sheet music is sold, have their own notices.
1. Data controller

2. What this site does and what data it processes
This is a single-page presentation of a sheet music arrangement. It does not have accounts, forms or newsletters, and it does not sell anything directly: purchases happen on Sheet Music Plus or Sheet Music Direct, which are independent data controllers.
- Server logs. The web server records the IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and referring page of each request, for security and to keep statistics on visits. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating and protecting the site. Retention: log files are kept for the time strictly needed for these purposes, normally no longer than 12 months, unless needed as evidence of an attack.
- Consent record. Your cookie choices are saved in your browser (local storage, see section 3) so we do not ask you again for 6 months. Legal basis: legal obligation to document consent (Art. 7 GDPR).
- Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). Only if you consent, the page loads the Meta Pixel, which lets Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. know that you visited this page, watched the video or clicked through to the store, so that we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and reach people with similar interests. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code), which you can refuse or withdraw at any time without any consequence on the use of the site.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Before you make a choice in the banner, the site sets no cookies and loads no third-party resources: fonts, images and scripts are all served from this domain.

4. How to give, refuse or change your consent
When you first open the page a banner lets you accept all, reject all or customise your choices. The two main buttons have the same size and prominence; closing the banner with the "×" means you continue with the default settings, which is no consent. Scrolling the page is not consent.

Withdrawing consent stops any further tracking; it does not affect what was lawfully processed before. You can also delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings, and Meta lets you manage ad settings from your Facebook or Instagram account.
5. Recipients and international transfers
- Hosting provider (server in the European Union), acting as processor.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., only after consent. Meta may transfer data to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Meta is certified.
- Google Ireland Ltd., only when you play the embedded video. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Sheet Music Plus (Hal Leonard LLC) and Sheet Music Direct: when you click "Get Sheet & Tab" you leave this site; any data you enter there is processed by them as independent controllers under their own notices.
6. Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you can ask the controller for access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time as explained in section 4. To exercise these rights write to the contact in section 1.
If you believe your rights have been infringed you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
This notice may be updated when the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If the categories of cookies change, the banner will ask for your consent again.
